International Travel recommendations for
CMA Music Festival
- Book hotels and flights as early as possible – the earlier the better. Transatlantic flights are heavily booked at that time of year. You can get better prices on flights the earlier they are booked.
- If you would prefer not to rent a car, try and book your hotel in the Downtown area and use the shuttles to get around the event.
- If coming to CMA Music Festival for the first time and unsure of your way around, consider travelling with a tour group who will have someone on hand to help you and make sure you make the best of your trip.
- It will be very hot, make sure you pack light clothing, wear a hat, use sunscreen and drink plenty of water.
- Everyone is very friendly in Nashville and will want to make your experience a happy one for you, if you are unsure, please ask and generally just talk to people, they will enjoy it as much as you do.
- Research events and other area attractions in Nashville around the time of CMA Music Festival, so you can make the most of your trip.
- Especially for the International Country Music fan, who will often not have access to seeing many artists in their own country, this is a wonderful opportunity to see so many artists in the space of a few days - pace yourself and enjoy the experience.
