Music Festival Tips

Here’s a list of tips from the staff at CMA designed to make your CMA Music Festival experience the most comfortable and easy to navigate it can possibly be! Take in these tips to make the most of Country Music’s Biggest Party™!

  • Don’t forget to bring your CMA Music Festival tickets (if they were mailed to you), parking pass (if you purchased one), and any other CMA Music Festival materials that you will need when you arrive.
  • Don’t forget your sunscreen. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes and summer-time clothing.
  • Be sure to drink plenty of fluids.
  • Bring your camera, plenty of film and your autograph book. A Photo Line will be available at Riverfront Park Stages and LP Field, allowing you to get up close and personal photos of your favorite stars performing. You will also want your flash camera as you adventure through the Exhibit Hall, capturing your favorite stars in their booths.
  • Know where your parking area is located. If you are with a large group, designate a meeting place and time.
  • Make reference to your maps, shuttle and show schedules that can be found in your CMA Music Festival program and pocket agenda.
  • Please be advised that we have medical/First Aid staffing available at each venue should you need assistance.
  • Be sure to carry proper identification at all times.
  • Security personnel are on duty throughout CMA Music Festival. Please report any incident requiring attention to Event Staff personnel, uniformed officers or security personnel.

Exhibit Hall Tips

If you’re wondering how you can most effectively navigate your way through a sea of flashing cameras, screaming fans and Country Music artists alike, there are a few helpful hints we’ve put together that you might want to consider.

  • First and foremost, put on a pair of comfortable shoes. The Nashville Convention Center is a large venue and remembering to pick out comfortable footwear and clothing will enhance your overall experience. Suntan lotion is not necessary at this particular venue. With the convenience of an indoor facility comes the luxury of air-conditioning. Attendees often find refuge from the heat in the Exhibit Hall. Also, food and beverages will be available in several locations throughout the Nashville Convention Center. No outside food or beverages are allowed at any venue.
  • How do I get an autograph? The exhibitors hand out a certain amount of pre-printed tickets from their booth. Timing of when these are distributed varies for each exhibitor. For those not able to get a ticket, always have your camera ready to take a picture, as you never know what star could show up next! The artist has a limited time to sign autographs, so please keep in mind that not everyone attending the CMA Music Festival is guaranteed to get an autograph. The tickets give fans the opportunity to do/see other things instead of waiting in line all day.
  • It is extremely important when trying to get in line not to run or push your fellow attendees. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in this matter.
